Come Discover the Beauty in Imperfection with jill davis
Have you ever felt something inside you break wide open—only to find that in the breaking, a new kind of light began to shine through? Join us for a soulful, heart-opening exploration of Kintsugi—the ancient Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold- an art form that honors the cracks and transforms the broken into something more beautiful than before. Kintsugi reminds us: our wounds are not shameful—they’re sacred. They’re evidence of our becoming. Come mend. Come shine. Come home to the beauty of your imperfect, radiant self.
Bring: An open heart and mind and a journal and pen.
I have been labeled an innovative and pioneering teacher, a supportive and creative group facilitator, who has a great zeal for personal development and spiritual growth. As a former MSU faculty member of 35 years, I awarded the MSU Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching. I now love facilitating writing classes, Legacy Letter Writing workshops, SoulCollage classes, 5 Wishes workshops, and leading creativity salons and book discussion groups for OLLI (MSU), the MT. Cancer Support Community, and other venues that support our growing community. When I am not facilitating workshops or revising a draft of my latest novel, I’m out hiking with my dogs, playing silly games with my young granddaughter, or enjoying Bozeman's wondrous community life.

In the first workshop, we will begin with a Mojo Mundi experience. Mojo Mundi is World Dance as Spiritual Practice. Ginny will lead an African World Dance to the live music of Yamama! to awaken the Fire and Water Olwyns (energy centers) in our bodies, exploring the power of creative, self-possessed Fire entwined with compassionate, world-embracing Water as they reside in us.
After we have danced our Fierce Love in the first workshop, there will be a ½ hour break. We will then regroup for the second workshop, diving into the space of creative vision through the ancient practice of the mandala. Casey Krohn will guide us to translate our embodied wisdom into the color, sacred geometry, and ever-changing soul symbols of each woman’s unique Fierce Love mandala. Yamama! will provide ambient music to support your mandala vision.
While you may attend either workshop, these offerings are designed to complement, expand, and complete one another, and we invite and encourage you to explore the whole experience.
