Song Weaving ~ Accessing Creative Inspiration Through Nature
With Hannah Belle Terrell
Our Friday Night Musician
Songwriting is not an exclusive art form. Just like many other creative art forms, it is accessible to those who open themselves to what wants to come through. This workshop will be an exploration of how to approach the art of writing a song, or more, letting a song write itself through you. Through a set chord progression with a chorus that we will all learn, a unified theme, some techniques and direction, and an example verse, you will be given the opportunity to write a verse to a song that we weave together. At the end, we will come together and sing our creation into being! No experience in songwriting, singing, or poetry needed, but those who have experience are welcome as well!
Class Size Limit: 12
Bring: Journal and writing utensil. Also, a phone if you'd like to record the chord progression, chorus, and/or the example verse.
Hannah Belle Terrell is a performer, songwriter, artist and music educator who has drawn the majority of their inspiration from natural landscapes. Performing and creating since she could speak, Hannah Belle is well-acquainted with the power of the arts. Hannah Belle weaves together both original music and classic covers to tell stories that breathe life into the lyrics. Bringing in familiar tunes, friendly interaction, and relatable tropes and tales, Hannah Belle creates an atmosphere of oneness and an experience that goes beyond simply listening to live music. Outside of acoustic guitar and serenading vocals, Hannah Belle uses a looper pedal with her cello and lap harp to create ethereal sonic landscapes and rich harmonic musical journeys.

The workshop focuses on presenting information and offering experiential guided journeys.
I welcome you to join me as I do my best to clarify this phenomenon called the “Soul Field”.
I will outline its properties and nature and then guide you on a couple of journeys into its temporal acreage.
It’s YOUR LIFE, my sister. It’s the prime very real estate you create just by living here in 3D on Earth.
Let’s turn up the lights and let Old Mother know you’re home.
Please bring a journal and pen, a small snack if lunch does not immediately follow.
